The Courtyard Apartments-Rugby, ND

AHDI, along with Community Action Partnership-Minot Region, assumed ownership of 20 low-income, elderly/disabled apartments in 2005 that were part of Heartland Homes Apartments in Rugby.  The complex was renamed The Courtyard Apartments and was rehabilitated using USDA-Rural Development funds, HOME funds, loans from the Center of North America Coalition for Rural Development (CONAC) and an Otto Bremer Foundation Grant.  Currently, Community Action Partnership-Minot Region manages the property.  The rehabilitation of the units consisted of new lighting fixtures, exhaust fans and attic fans, upgrading of appliances, and residing with maintenance-free siding.
