Creamery Hill Project-New Salem, ND

AHDI partnered with Community Action Program Region VII in 2002 and 2003 to purchase 4 houses in Bismarck and relocate them to lots donated by the City of New Salem.  Each home had 4 bedrooms, a kitchen and dining area, living room, and 1 and 1/2 baths.  All the homes are steel-sided and have full, unfinished basements.  They also have both  front and back decks.  The houses were extensively rehabilitated, including new furnaces, refrigerators and cabinets, vinyl and carpet.  The were also painted and provided with driveways and sidewalks.  Since the development of Creamery Hill, all 4 homes were sold to qualified low-income families.
