Trail West Phase 1-Mandan, ND

In 2002, AHDI acquired vacant, undeveloped land in Northwest Mandan and is currently working on a multi-phase, multi-year housing development called Trail West Addition in collaboration with Community Action Program Region VII, Inc.  The area is platted for 25 lots of varying sizes.  Each would accommodate a twin home for a total development of 52 single family units.

The first phase of this development involved infrastructure and home construction on 7 lots to produce 14 energy efficient affordable homes.  Eight of the units are 2 bedrooms homes, the remaining 6 units are 3 bedroom homes.

The final lot in Phase I was developed as a slab-on-grade, elderly/disabled friendly twin home.  These units use Universal Design for accessibility to person of all abilities.  All homes in Phase I have been sold to qualified buyers.
